The agreement for using Cropoora

Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the rules for using Cropora’s website, early-access programme, and future mobile services. Please read them before using the service.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using Cropora, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Cropora on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

2. The Cropora service

Cropoora provides AI-assisted observations and general information about crop health. The service may include analysis of photographs, possible disease identification, and suggested next steps. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable while we test and improve the product.

3. Important: not professional agronomy advice

Cropoora’s outputs are informational only. They are not a substitute for an in-person field inspection, laboratory test, pesticide label, government guidance, or advice from a qualified agronomist. Do not rely on Cropora as the sole basis for a treatment, pesticide purchase, irrigation decision, or other decision that could affect people, crops, animals, or property. Always follow applicable laws, product labels, and local expert advice.

4. Early access and your account

Early access may be offered on an invitation basis and can be modified or withdrawn at any time. You must provide accurate information and keep your account details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should notify us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without permission.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of photos, farm details, feedback, and other content you submit to Cropoora. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, analyse, and use that content to provide, maintain, secure, and improve our services. Where legally permitted, we may use de-identified and aggregated data to improve our models and research crop-health trends.

6. Acceptable use

You must use Cropoora lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • upload content that you do not have the right to share;
  • attempt to bypass security, scrape the service, reverse engineer our models, or disrupt other users;
  • use the service to make harmful, unlawful, or misleading decisions or claims;
  • misrepresent Cropoora’s suggestions as certified, guaranteed, or professional advice; or
  • use the service in a way that infringes someone else’s rights.

7. Intellectual property

Cropoora and its logos, software, designs, written content, and model outputs are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, sell, licence, or distribute any part of Cropora without our written permission.

8. Feedback

If you send us ideas, comments, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. We are not required to keep feedback confidential.

9. Availability and disclaimers

Cropoora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for every crop, region, condition, or purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cropora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of crops, profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, Cropoora’s total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months or INR 1,000.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or stop your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created risk for Cropoora or others, or where required by law. You may stop using Cropoora at any time. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services develop. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. By continuing to use Cropoora after an update becomes effective, you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, unless mandatory local law states otherwise. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of the city in which the Cropoora operating entity is registered. For questions, legal@cropoora.com
